Quite correct. S15=128 disables V42. S15=8 disables MNP handshake. In a
previous message Tom posted he stated that he used S15=136 which seemd to work
for him. For me, well the bin is about the only suitable place for my Dynalink
V34+. Not reliable enough on the modem and the fax side leaves a lot to be
desired. I think a return to my old faithful (and ultra reliable) Zoltrix is on
the cards.
