Hello Dan.

Now don't think I am being funny, but do you know what you are looking for, or
put differently, do you understand what you are looking for ... , and how to
get there ... ? I suspect not ... , but that can be rectified ...
The page makes a few assumptions, firstly that you are reasonably familiar
with the command line in Linux/FreeBSD, secondly that you can compile source
code, and have gcc/g++ installed, thirdly, that you know how to change from
normal user to root user to install the programs you compiled, and have read
the "install" instructions where to find the config files, and
that if you are
not happy with the default location, how to change it at compile time ... etc.
There are no Linux/FreeBSD binaries, due to possible library incompablities
... thus compiling from source is the way to go ... , it is easy, fast, and
the only way to guarrantee that they will work on your system ...
DC> I've got IREXL but I can't get it to even start to run.
Have you made the rexl/rexcfgl (?) files executable?
Are they on your path? if not, start them with a "./" i.e.
""./irexl"" at the
command prompt ...
You can use this e-mail address to get further clarification ...
