RF|    I saw a message awhile back about connecting 2 modems with
  |    a telephone line and starting Telix on both machines and
  |    issuing an AT command to connect them?  I forgot what the
  |    command was?  Can someone help?  Thanks...
I've done this a few times.  It's simply ATA on one end, and ATX1D on
the other.  The X1 part is important, since it disables the "NO DIAL
TONE" error you'd get otherwise.
