I just finished reading a mystery that you recommended.
    James Patterson's "Kiss The Girls".  Talk about assault
    of the senses!  Whew!  I picked the worst time to read it,
    too, because I was alone until late in the evening for two
    nights in a row.  I found myself jumping at every little
    noise.  
    I will choose a better time to read "Along Came The Spider".
    Right now, I'm in the middle of Josephine Tey's "Miss Pym
    Disposes", which was also recommended here in this echo by
    Jan Perkins.  Quite a change of pace...           :)
