MR> did. It sounds to me as if he's more of a team player than Wakeman
MR> was. Moraz seems to listen to what's going on around him and his
MR> playing supports and enhances what the other musicians are doing.
Well, again, this point may have proved invalid if Moraz had been
with the band longer. But maybe not. I'm certainly not a Moraz
hater by any means, just a Wakeman lover (with Yes, that is!)
MR> Now that I think of it, I believe I heard _Yeshows_ some years ago
MR> and decided I didn't need it. ;-)
Good decision. Squire and White were the only two members that
backed that project. The rest of the band were against it, but it
was too late for them to do anything about it as it was already
out! I think Wakeman heard about it after it had been released for
a week or two... there's a lot of problems with that album, but
it's of course necessary for the completist like you or myself.
Great Dean cover too! :)
MR> FWIW, he and Moraz have done a few albums together - just the two
MR> of them. Really interesting stuff.
I've heard _Flags_, but not _Music for..._, though I will
definitely pick it up if I see it around. I believe they met
through Squire while playing on _Fish out of Water_, easily the
best Yes solo album, IMO.
MR> Hehehe... I know the feeling! I'd like to complete my Moraz
MR> collection so if you (or anyone reading this) know(s) of any other
MR> Patrick Moraz albums, please let me know! It would be greatly
MR> appreciated.
Well I already mentioned _Coexistence_, which is somewhat rare. You
should definitely check into that. Also _Timecode_, and the '72
self-titled _Mainhorse_ album.
MR> Is it really? That was the first one without Jon Anderson wasn't

MR> rapidly downhill and that the injection of Trevor Horn and Geoff

It was the first and only Yes album without Anderson, but it's
excellent, IMO. It was basically mostly written by
Howe/Squire/White, with later injections by Downes/Horn. There are
some great songs on it.
MR> Buggles and of Yes's _90125_, though. I was going to check out _Big
MR> Generator_ simply because I liked some of the _90125_ album, but never
MR> got around to it for whatever reasons. Hmmmm.... well, as I said, if
MR> I can find them cheap in a used CD shop or something, maybe I'll

Ouch! Don't even bother with _Big Disappointment_. _Drama_, as I
said, is worthwhile.
