RW> TW> Slipped my mind that you were in Texas. With a good wind pattern you RW> TW> coual get along quite well. As a side note I calcualtedthe batteery RW> TW> drin for that 220v/2.4amps and it comes to a 40 Amp draw on a 12 volt RW> TW> Battery. RW>Actually, I was thinking in terms of 10-12ea 12v batteries in series, RW>which makes up 120vdc. Then a 2nd bank making up the other 120vdc and RW>converting each to AC, providing 220vac. Now you are talking BIG Bucks. That would take 20 to 24 45 Watt solar panels at about $200 Each for a quality panel. IF you hurry you c uld pick up 20 to 24 of those $149 Harbor Freight kits and throw away everything except the panels and save a few bucks. And you may need to custom build your inverters as 48 Volt converters are the highest voltage I could locate. --- þ SLMR 2.1a þ 0* Origin: Fidonet Since 1991 And Still Here.
