12 x 1150 usd is a lot more than I've ended up in my pocket
some recent years.

Can't you ask some kids in the neighborhood to do it for a few
bucks?

I avoided paying over $150/mo by turning the lights off at my
shop during the covid lockdown. I also avoided using any
propane (for heating) during March and April. It was worth it.

One meal per day is a bad strategy. You are not doing your
body any favors that way, especially if your one meal consists
of bread, starches and sugar. Ideally, you should try to
maintain the glucose levels steady, hour by hour. I find that
on average, 100-125 cals per waking hour works good for me and
I never feel hungry.
I was between 195 and 200 lbs for many years up until 2 years
ago. In Jan 2019 I reached 175 lbs. There was a bit of an
upswing to 180 6 months ago, but I have reached 172 a few
weeks ago now. Based on my BMI, I have a few more pounds to
lose. It's nice to have a flat stomach for a change.

That is fine for the vulture. That's its nature, to survive.
Humans have many other choices.

If you want to add liver damage to your already long list of
ailments, that's your choice, but it probably won't make you
happy.
