Sorry if I'm re-asking any of this, I just joined the echo a little
while ago.
I'm looking for some more information on the Hayes 56k upgrade offer.
Specifically, can I send in my old external BocaModem 2400, and for 99+S&H
upgrade it to a 56k external? Will the 56k modems be upgradable once the 
ITU standard comes out? (or is it ANSI, or they the same? I'm still pretty
much in the dark on that)  Also, will the 56k modems be useable as server
modems on things like BBSs? I've gotten the impression that they won't be
able to, but I haven't read anything that comes out and says that.
