What I didn't quote was that UUE-coded (or indeed any other encoding) is
generally frowned upon in Fidonet, which is stated in the manual. The
exceptional case is dependent upon any specific agreements as to accepting such
encodings.
Yes, I have encoded some UUE 'scripts' and decoded many in Fidonet in the past
but that was in _one_ particular group/echo, that allowed such traffic. The
coded text contained DOS binary executable utilities only, in either .COM or
.EXE form.
As mentioned above, I cannot encode any herewith as there is no general
agreement about doing text traffic containing UUE. I am happy to test your
texts though. ;-)
