Tom,
TW>DS>HG>Yeah, I know but this is a hobby so it's allowed to cost.
TW>DS> That's what they say about ham radio (hi hi).
TW>"The Difference between Men and Boys is the Price of their Toys"
TW>really applies in Ham Radio!!
Or from a skit (3 actually) that The Good Lord gave me (several would
say I had too much time on my hands)...
Q. Do you, Ham...take Radio...to be your lawfully wedded spouse??
A. I do.
By the power invested in me, as Net Control for several D-Star Nets, I
now pronounce you ham and radio. You may now kiss the mic. :P
There was a picture on Facebook with an OM in bed, holding a ham radio
transceiver, and you see "hearts" emanating from him (he loves the rig).
But, on the other side of the bed, is a very disgusted looking XYL. (hi
hi).
Indeed, no matter what the hobby...BBSing, Ham Radio, or something
else. I've known cases where either both spouses are well into it...or
you have one who is nuts about it, and the other couldn't care less.
Daryl, WX1DER
