 Anti-american? He actually did mean it when he wrote that check
 to the Nation cashable up to and including his life. And he
 went out and risked having it cashed.

 He did not let his friend get away with "It's the other brown
 people we have to worry about".

 He didn't worry about someone looking like he had tackled too
 tall Jones, instead of a skinny white kid from Georgia.
