Not exaclty repair, they just want to hide the fault.

Back around 1980 Ford Cortinas had engine mounts that would over time sag
and throw the steering out of line, the dealer fix was to chain the car to
the floor and stick a jack under the motor and push it back into place,
which doesn't fix the problem onlt delays it's reappearance.
