Ed,

EV> DS> Actually, the cellphone isn't on MagicJack. I use the
EV> DS> "Straight Talk" plan from Wal-Mart. The bad thing about

EV>That is a Cell Phone service??? That's why I asked.

It's a plan for Wal-Mart. There is no "roaming" with it (that may be
one reason it's cheaper), but I rarely go outside of Pulaski County
(Little Rock) anymore. So for me, it's perfect. What data I get is
mainly weather related. Around here, there are so many "weather
illiterate people" that it's pathetic.

EV>Recently I saw something about an experiment with a new substance to
EV>use that would allow a battery to hold it's charge longer, can't
EV>remember any more about it at the moment.

Interesting. When I was at the Memphis Freefest a few years ago, I won
one of these huge recycled batteries that FedEx originally used in their
cargo planes. But, since I had no room for it, I donated it to an area
ham radio club. On several events, for 24 hours, they've run every one
of their rigs (and there were several) on that one battery!!

EV>I can't remember if Nancy or Mike Powell used that Tagline in a message.
EV>I'm glad you like it, that Tagline is #76 in SLMR's Tagline file and
EV>#88 in Multimail's Tagline file, which means I've had it a L-O-N-G time
EV>and musta not thought to use it where You could see it in a message of
EV>mine.

Tagline thievery is not stealing...it's gathering research. Except
for the limit on the length of taglines in OLX, I've got a QWK Reader
that does the job.

EV>As they say at Chick-fil-A "My Pleasure!".

EV>Don't forget the Apple Pan Douty(sp?).

Never had that...although their peach milk shakes in the summer are to
die for!!
