I don't know whether I mentioned this here before, but I had undiagnosed
pneumonia for about a month about 7-8 years ago. I saw my PCP about 4 times
before going to the hospital and finding out my O2 was 75.
Of course, the hospital originally thought I had an embolism (bad x- ray).
I do know I've written here before about horror stories in American
medicine involving SofI retirees.
