-= Pete Replied to Doug Loggie about: Line Quality =-
G'day Doug

You mention you have a Roadster in a msg to Ian, I only have experence
with the Netcomm Smartmodems but they have the documented %Ln command
to set the transmit level used as AT%Ln where n=-dB, loudest setting
it think is around -11dB, You could also try the undocumented #T
command as in AT#Tn with n=-dB, This command doesn't seem to have a
upper limit built in so Tx levels of -9dB and -8dB seem possible.
Note Ian and Bills advice that louder isn't always better so if they
work on your Roadster use with caution.
Pete.
