I have seen this reasoning from you before.  IMO, it doesn't hold water.
The situations are completely different.  These people in Iraq didn't
disappear like in South America or like in a tsunami.  They were taken away
by Saddam and the people know what happen to them.  I have seen grieving
relatives going through mass graves and trying to what remains of their
loved ones.  This is documented, you just choose to ignore it.
