It does here. If purchasing at the drivethrough at McDonalds, they pass the
handheld terminal (display, card reader, PIN pad) out to you. You don't get
an EFTPOS receipt unless you ask for it though, and McDonalds are the only
place I know of in this country that don't issue one by default.

(An EFTPOS receipt is a record of the EFTPOS transaction, as distinct from
the normal shop receipt recording the transaction. Some shops issue both,
some issue only the EFTPOS receipt unless you ask for the shop one as well,
and the trend now is to issue both on the same slip, usually done by large
businesses with integrated POS / EFTPOS systems. Typically you keep the
EFTPOS receipt like you do a cheque butt, for reconciling against your
statement at the end of the month. You keep the store receipt for warranty
/ return / proof of ownership purposes as usual.)
