My BBS started around 1985 on an Apple //c. I wasn't IBM PC until the late
80s (around 1987) when I moved my BBS over from Apple-Net 2.4 software to
WWIV. Been IP only ever since I could get a cable modem - don't remember
the exact year.

Like most people, I have a custom setup over here. WWIV isn't natively FTN
compliant, so there are multiple things that had to be done to get this all
working.

As many know, my setup involved (2) VMs. One OS/2 eCS that runs the (4)
BBS nodes and the SIO drivers/Flash policy server. The other VM runs
Windows XP for the (2) instances of D'Bridge (hub and BBS). This also
handles all the tossing and events (WWIVTOSS, etc).

The XP VM has a mapped drive to the OS/2 VM. That is the bulk of my setup.
I was fortunate that the files that WWIVTOSS creates are read directly by
D'Bridge with no changes needed. That was very astonishing in itself.
