Greetings all!

Well, the June S&T landed in my mailbox today and I peered into the
table of contents just to see if the Focal Point my SO wrote actually
appeared, at which point I lost it entirely - thank god they didn't get a
picture to work from. ;)

When Jey first started working on what ended up as "Life Amid the
Grit" last year I thought it was a great idea, but you know how they
neglected the hardcore ATMers in recent years, so she did kind of wonder if
they’d go for it.  I said, well look, they sent me a free red-light pen for
filling out this survey, and I checked all the boxes for more ATM stuff as
well as suggesting that everywhere I could...  The editors jumped on the
article once she finally sent it in – it would have been in last month only
they bumped it for the lunar impact photo story.   And the
illustration – words fail me.

But you know, this list has been the best source of info out there for many
years now, /and/ the best self-correcting one as well!  So I hereby propose
a toast to it and offer /pitch cakes/ to anyone who wants one as a
singular, uhm, honor.

I’ve still got one of those little tubs of WB Burgundy (lost a bit of
aroma, I’m afraid), I think that’ll decorate quite a few little hardtacks. 
If you’d rather have Gugolz just say so, plenty of that to go around;
probably easier to chew.  If you swallow it you’re on your own though.
