PROOF THAT THE WACO FIRE _DID NOT_ HAPPEN AS GOV'T SAID!!!
This is proveable by the very Infra-Red (FLIR) video the government
used to try to refute the conspiracy theories. These never 
before publicly shown videos were aired 5 May 1995 on ABC's 
Nightline with Ted Koppell at 11:30pm. A quality slo-mo VCR 
helps in seeing the evidence the refutes the official story.
Fact #1: I am willing to admit that the tank supposedly used in
starting the (1st) fire on the second floor was indeed too far
away for an FBI agent to jump down from the second floor to its
deck. However, only a minute earlier, a tank rammed that corner 
of the building with the tank-extractor arm that was clearly 
aimed up at around 40% to 45% from horizontal. Unlike the ATF 
arson experts claim that the tank ONLY effected the lower ground 
floor, the angle of the tank arm would have penetrated the 
second floor, quite possibly overturning any kerosene lamps in 
that area. The shock to the buildings structure from such a 
penetration would unseat almost anything in the vicinity. How 
the fire in that corner area started is STILL open for debate.
Fact #2: Before the fire starts in the second-floor corner, the 
FLIR video clearly shows "heat" in the window of the first
floor dining room. If this fire was indeed started before the 
so-called FIRST fire in the second-floor corner, this would 
still allow for a "person" to board the deck of the tank as the 
tank heads towards the corner of the structure. This too would
allow this "person," if there was one, to remove a flame-proof
hood as Linda Thompson's video narration states.
Fact #3: While the FLIR video focuses on the growing fire in the 
second-floor corner room, occasionally glimpses of FLAMING HEAT 
can be seen to the far left coming out of the windows of the 
third-floor watchtower, which is in the middle of the dormatory 
wing to the north. This fire "appears" to be much more advanced 
than the so-called "first" fire. This was the same area that had 
the infamous flame-thrower tank which had just crashed through 
the opposite wall from this watchtower.
Fact #4: The ATF arson expert stated that the so-called flame 
throwing tank that crashed through the wall opposite the 
watchtower was nothing more than a light reflection. However, 
the amount of light present could not have caused such a bright 
reflection that would resemble flames. Notice that NOTHING else 
on the tank reflects much light, yet we are told that this tank
has something on the front that reflects like flames. Also
remember that tanks have non-reflective flat paint covering
their ENTIRE surface. An even more important point to consider 
is that this tank crashed through the side wall, yet the 
second-floor and roof still remain and cover the front of this
tank from direct sunlight. The possibility of a flame shooting 
out from the tank, directly towards the soon-to-be-engulfed 
watchtower is still HIGHLY POSSIBLE!
Fact #5: The ATF arson expert shows FLIR video that shows the 
watchtower area from the viewpoint of where the tank entered and 
then reversed. He states that there is NO FLIR EVIDENCE that any 
fire is in that area. This is true, from that vantage point. 
*****It is also important to note that he DID NOT show the 
actual FLIR footage of when the tank crashed through the side 
wall and then withdrew, possibly shooting flames in the 
process.*****
Moreover, he points out a "person" escaping from the 
second-floor window, sliding down the roof. He states that this 
is a Davidian. Linda Thompson's video shows this "person" 
CASUALLY walking away from the burning building and then 
removing some type of cloth hood. Highly suspicious actions for 
a Davidian who just escaped from a deadly fire that many others 
perished in!
Fact #6: (This was the clincher that got me to look more closely
at the video footage and caused my suspicions of deception to go 
on alert.) It is important to remember that 40+ mph winds were 
blowing in a N-NE direction (see SOF magazine June 95) across 
the Waco fields surrounding the religious retreat, highly 
supportive of spreading a fire quickly downwind. 
The ATF arson expert showed FLIR footage of the watchtower as it
was being engulfed in flames. If one was to see what was
pointed out to you to see, you could EASILY have missed the HEAT
from all the second-floor windows, UPWIND and DOWNWIND of the
burning watchtower. The two-floor dormitory was ALREADY on fire,
WHILE the DOWNWIND watchtower was strongly burning. These
pre-existing fires DIRECTLY CORRESPOND to where the so-called
flame-throwing tank entered earlier. This too would explain why 
NO FIRE was seen from the UPWIND view of the hole made by the 
tank and where the "person" escaped from the second-floor 
window. By the FLIR video, this indeed is THE ONLY area that was 
not burning due to the direction of the strong wind.
Even more unsettling is the article titled WACOGATE which
appeared in the June 1995 issue of Soldier of Fortune magazine 
that states that the FBI designed the various tank holes to 
foster FLUE VENT HOLES which caused the fire to spread to the
entire complex so quickly with the aid of the OXYGEN-RICH 40mph 
wind. The thesis of this article is that the FBI willingly and
knowingly DESIGNED the fire that engulfed the Davidian retreat
and resulted in the deaths of more than 80 children, women and
men. This data is being used for former Attorney General Ramsay 
Clark's $900 million suit against the federal government on 
behalf of the Davidians.
SMARY: I feel that we are still not being told the truth about 
that fateful day in Waco, Texas and the government is trying to 
deceive the majority of those who are concerned about Waco yet
did not pay enough attention to the FLIR and regular video
shown. Just as a magician MANIPULATES the audience to look where
HE WANTS THEM TO LOOK, so it is with this attempt to put down
the conspiracy theories that are so wide spread throughout the
country. From the evidence put forth by the ATF arson expert, 
the claim that the Davidians started the fire is UNPROVEABLE! 
Moreover, it is still possible that the FBI did indeed start the 
deadly fire. The verdict lacks EVIDENCE on BOTH SIDES.
Ted Koppell did bring up some EXCELLENT points and the ATF arson 
expert did little to answer them. First was the question of WHY 
we should believe him since he is a consultant for the ATF and 
his wife NOW works for the ATF. Secondly, Ted asked if that if 
the government DIDN'T KNOW that a fire was to break out, why did 
they have a PLANE CIRCLING THE RETREAT WITH FLIR VIDEO BEING 
FILMED to record the spread and locations of the fire? Very good 
questions indeed and we have NO ANSWERS to these questions. A 
semi-hats-off to Ted Koppell for TRYING to be objective reporter.
As the government trys to dispel theories that the FBI torched 
the Davidian religious retreat, it seems that their results may 
have only limited success and the fiery theories of a 
governmental cover-up may indeed be fanned by this added 
information. The debate goes on...........
