Iran is not al Qaeda either, an attack by Iran in the US and the US would
have a country upon which to take retribution. I would not want to be on
the receiving end of that exchange. (that's not a boast, it's a reality)

Because of that, the whole missile thing is a farce. The fear with Iran is
that they might provide weapons to al Qaeda not that they might launch an
attack of their own. As for nuclear facilities, accident waiting to happen.
If  they were to have an "accident" without getting caught, what
exactly would you think the reaction from the Iranian public would be?
