You're right; I mentioned Earle only because it was his charges last fall
that stimulated some of the regulars here to deep thought about the
importance of fairness, restraint and non-partisanship on the part of
prosecutors.

For some reason it hadn't occurred to them in connection with, say, Kenneth
Starr, but better late than never.
