-> Yet there are and were preachers with much larger congregations, who
-> are or were *FAR* worse.

Let's take the belief that the United States government intentionally
created AIDS for the purpose of killing all black people. What examples
are "*FAR* worse" than that?

-> Remember Billy Graham?
-> He's on one of Nixon's secret tapes, saying he has Jewish friends,
-> but Jews are dragging the country down.

Not true, of course. Nixon held the opinion that a group of "left
wing" and "radical" Jews controlled the media. Graham
agreed with him,
and expressed the opinion that they were hurting the country. Bigoted
of them to identify the group by the religion that some of them shared,
but not an attack on Judaism or on all Jews. If you cannot find people
in the current presidential campaigns who believe that our whole Middle
East policy is made by Jewish "neo-cons" who care more about the welfare
of Israel than the welfare of the US, you are not looking very hard.

So is what Graham said really "*FAR* worse" in your opinion than
anything Jeremiah Wright or Louis Farrakahn has ever said about Judaism?

-> And Graham tried to lie about saying this, then when the tape came
-> out, said "he didn't remember."

And you know for a fact that in 1994 he did remember what he said 22
years earlier? Or do you simply abuse the word "lie" the way Klahn and
Wilson do?

-> Jerry Falwell, who began his
-> career preaching hate, (namely defending racism and segregation,)

He was in favor of segregation, as were many people in the Fifties,
unfortunately. Wright too seems to lean more toward separatism than
integration, so that cannot be the "*FAR* worse" part. Why don't you
find the most "racist" thing he might have said, though, to support your
comparison? Racist, not separatist. You do understand what racism is,
don't you?

-> his comment that the US deserved 9-11

Actually what he said was that because of various sins it was not as
PROTECTED by divine intervention as it had been in the past. Arguably a
stupid comment, but how in the world do you consider this "*FAR* worse"
than what Wright said about 9/11??? Do you even know what Wright
said???

-> Yet Mccain refuses to disavow Hagee.

""We've had a dignified campaign, and I repudiate any comments that are
made, including Pastor Hagee's, if they are anti-Catholic or offensive
to Catholics," McCain said."

And that is in reference to a person who is NOT his pastor, who did NOT
bring him to religion in his twenties, who did NOT perform his wedding,
whose sermons he had NOT sat through and read for twenty years for
inspiration.

Where is the "far worse?"

[cue the crickets]
