Something in the "odd spot" section of a newspaper here: "A
stunning 94 percent of Americans believe they are above average in honesty,
according to a poll conducted by the Washington Post. Honestly, you have to
wonder if they know what average means. The same poll found 89 percent
thought they had above average common sense, and 79 percent thought they
had above average looks. A triumphant response for the culture of self
confidence."
