Hello Everyone,
Sorry to have not written anything for awhile.  I was sick for a couple of
weeks but am feeling much better now.  I just wanted to let everyone know
that we went to court on February 7, 1996 and the court declared that our
case with CPS (Children's Protective Services) is officially closed!!!!!!
Whew, only 15 months of h@ll over with at last.  Now that the case is over
we can actively pursue getting out of here and going back home to Michigan
to be with our family.  We will be leaving here on June 20th.  I can hardly
wait!    My involvement with VOCAL will still continue, however the
location of my volunteer work will change.  That's okay though.  I will
be leaving behind a good group of people here to continue where I leave
off.  I also understand that there is no VOCAL group in Michigan and that
one is sorely needed, so at least I will be there to help.  
Anyway, that's what has been happening here.  I've got to run now.  To
everyone who has given their support and prayers on our behalf, please
know that it is appreciated far more than words can ever say, and 
THANK YOU!  We could not have gotten through this ordeal without you.
