John,
    Currently there have been no announcements regarding pre-ship
replacements for any modem trade ins.  It should be a pretty quick
swap-out though.
    And yes, there will be an upgrade path available from these 56K
modems to whatever standard the ITU-T comes up with. No projected cost
on that yet as we don't yet know what the ITU-T is going to come up
with at this point.
