DS>EV>iirc, there was a period here in the past that there was a charge for DS>EV>renewing of a license, but luckily I never had to renew my station DS>EV>during that period. DS> I've only been licensed since 1991 (and have to wait another year DS>before I can become part of the QCWA (Quarter Century Wireless DS>Association), so I don't know much about past license fees, as it were. I was first licenced in 1992. I had delayed getting my Licence for many years, first because the brian could not get the rhythm of CW even after many years(since 1948 when I passed a made up test by a Ham Licenced High School teacher using the question pool) of trying. Even after the No code tech was instituted I would not bring myslef to take the test bewcause I felt less then capable if I coudl not use CW. Even after I dod get my No Code Tech at club meetings I had to endure the "Old Timers" carping that NO Code Tech were not REAL Hams. --- þ SLMR 2.1a þ Typo Tom strikes agaoin* Origin: Check Out Doc's QWK Mail Via Web BBS > DocsPlace.org (1:123/140) SEEN-BY: 19/33 34/999 90/1 116/18 120/331 123/500 1406 128/187 135/364 140/1 SEEN-BY: 218/700 222/2 226/0 160 230/150 240/1120 249/303 250/1 261/38 100 SEEN-BY: 266/404 1413 267/155 280/464 1027 282/1031 1056 292/907 908 311/2 SEEN-BY: 320/119 322/762 340/400 393/68 396/45 633/267 280 640/384 712/620 848 SEEN-BY: 770/1 801/161 2320/105 303 @PATH: 123/140 500 261/38 712/848 633/267 |
