subject: Telnet Issues

I don't know if this is the right echo for this or not, but here goes.

I've discovered a glitch with Virtual Advanced Software, where some telnet
logons to the standard telnet port (23) are IMMEDIATELY DISCONNECTED as soon
as they connect...and then the software EXITS, where no one else can logon.

I thought it was an anomaly, as I had run into it when trying to logon from
my Mom's place, when I'd go over there to help her with computer issues, that
I couldn't take care of remotely via Radmin.

But, this evening, David Perussel, of The Telnet BBS Guide, reported the
problem as well.

I've never run into this problem before, and was curious what can be done,
such as switching the telnet port to something like 2323. I've also sent
email to Steve Winn, current developer of Virtual Advanced Software, for his
input.

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
