But is that really several YEARS worth of design work?  So ZyXel buys bigger 
ROMs and puts the code in.  Sheeze, is that so hard to do? 
Other modem companies have been doing it for 13 months now.
Some charging as low as $125 for a stripped down version.
But it still runs TWICE as fast (true 28k8) as the ZyXel 14k4.
