Greetings Paul! Saturday September 21 1996 10:54, Paul Edwards wrote to All: PE> requiring the old version to be present anymore. I tried this out to PE> make sure, and it DIDN'T WORK! I had to reinstall v3.0 from floppies once (the Upgrade) onto a clean HDD and it worked fine. I have since done it with the CD version too. I don't understand why you have to install v2.1 first.. ANyway, to try to get around it, you can just have your SYSLEVEL.OS2 from v2.1 in a directory named \OS2\INSTALL without any of the rest of v2.1 installed, and it (v3.0) should install fine.
