Found while perusing Ralf Brown's list:
INT 10 U - VIDEO - READ PEL MASK (VGA/MCGA)
        AX = 1019h
Return: BL = value read
INT 10 U - VIDEO - SET PEL MASK (VGA/MCGA)
        AX = 1018h
        BL = new PEL value
Experimenting with them shows that calling the latter function does funny
things with the colours on your screen.
The question: what is the PEL, what is its mask, and what is the purpose
of the latter function ?
