I suspect given what I've read that he's a useful conduit.

Using ye olde kremlinology which proves so useful wrt the Bush admin I
would hazard a guess that the men in suits are trying to strong arm the men
in uniforms/light coloured raincoats & sunglasses & the men in
uniform/raincoats are trying to make sure that option is removed from the
table.

Which is all to the good. Heck is the Pres can put info into the public
domain so as to properly educate the public, others can too.

My guess is that they're setting the stage for a set of "congressional
questions" which obviously they'd have to answer honestly.....

Here you go congress person...these are the questions you should ask us....
