we had bright sunshine, driving hail, a light (driven) drizzle, &
driven snow all in about an hour & a half & my brother had come
through with his little lads to camp on the hill. 

All this about "drought in the south" & malton & york
were near under a week back. Both were up to their (newly built) flood
walls.
