Echoing Monte's comment, while the production of complex elements from the
stars is extremely interesting (and a pre-requisite to life), it is not
"evolution".

However, the fact that complex atoms were produced from the simple
components of hydrogen is certainly an extremely graphic example of how
complexity can occur. There is no law that prevents complexity.
