What he said!
I like being able to fire up a test VM alongside the BBS VM and work on them
side by side without hauling out another monitor, plug, etc. I still haven't
hit a wall with 8 GB of RAM in my desktop box and have another 8 ready to go
in.
Since I work all day, the system's idle most of the time, freeing up all of the
cycles for the BBS. When I'm working on it, no one can tell from the BBS side.
I found out my motherboard will take a quad-core CPU, so I could go from a Core
2 Duo to a quad core CPU, 16 GB of RAM - I've got 2 TB of mirrored drives, so
(knock on wood) I should have a stable platform that'll work for some time.
