Sometimes.  I'm about to take the BBS down to switch out soundcards.  I
just moved the BBS to its own desk with a 19" CRT; it's the first time
in a long time I can work on the BBS and not tie up my other machine.

The BBS machine has a high-pitched hum to it since the power supply is just
an "el cheapo" one, but other than that, it's silent.
