This was only ever a "mystery" to those that wanted desperately
see something that wasn't there.  This is the same group that believes that
the Pentagon wasn't hit by a 757, because the damage doesn't match some
cartoon version of what a building should look like after it is hit by an
airplane and same group that believes that the World Trade Centers were
brought down in a controlled demolition.  Phil's website reference not
withstanding there has been evidence of phone calls and flight paths that
made it clear what happened to flight 93.

Here is a website that does a good job of debunking them.  Of course the
"true believers" will never see it that way.
