Some of it is about gov cash. Here in Scarborough we have a masterful bunch
of council ppl wrt scamming cash out of whitehall.
as such we have central town parking disks (set the time on your disk
(inside your car), leave it visible & you get X hours to park there)
even though we have no problem with parking...coz the gov wanted to see
this & would give councils who put it in a wodge of cash...
wrt "bike lanes" to get the gov "well done" cash payout
you only need to have a certain length of bike lane. As such we have these
little patches too.
