 No, he's saying SHE malfunctioned. When the slide on any semi auto is pushed 
back out of battery, the hammer won't drop, the firing pin won't move, and no 
matter how hard you pull the trigger, no bang.
 Also, if you did manage to put your gun into someones torso hard enough to 
cause the slide to move backwards a bit, and it did somehow fire, the report 
is probably not going to be deafening, but muffled.
 One last note...
 How do you think your "sieve" will affect your jury, Mr. Goet..er Mr. Ross?
