Howdy! Daryl and Tom,
Thanks for taking the time to write about the problems Hams have with
CC&R's and using the internet to work stations on the air.
The first time I heard about internet radio, I too didn't think it
was real radio, but after reading Your message I now understand the
problems some Hams face when they don't own the property their License
is listed at.
It has been a long time since I've been on the air due to the wife not
liking the co-ax cables running through the doorway up to the attic to
get to where my 80 Meter and 20 Meter antennas are.

"Echolink" (via the

You've got me thinking about using one of those internet radio programs
so I could get my Radio-Fix.
Maybe I'll try it out one day.
As is I don't know where I'd find the time.
My reading BBS Mail, E-mail and browsing the internet after reading an
article in the newsletters I get, plus the other activities I am
involved in and those Honey-Do'es, etc., fill up my day.
But at least I know from reading You writing about it, that I could get
on the Air 'radioless' from home. Thanks.

Is a Air Card used with a Mac Computer?
Enlighten me please.

Or if they decided to revoke license of folks like me who haven't keyed
a Mike or touched a Telegraph Key or used their PC on RTTY since their
last License renewal.
