Depends on whether we really want to keep it.  We either dike it like a
good fraction of the Netherlands or we abandon it.  Similar choices apply
to other cities like New York and London.  Rather than engaging in
delusional Kyoto non-solutions, the modern equivalent of Canute yelling at
the waves to recede, we should be investing those resources into protecting
or relocating populations and the inevitable warming proceeds.
