Because of my original education I know several people who vanished into
the bowels of NSA, CIA, or God knows where else.  One though, a lady of my
acquaintance, during the early "calibration" phase of her
interview for NSA was asked whether she had ever had sex with an animal --
just to shake her up.  Apparently she passed the test but decided to ditch
government service to go for her PhD and a life in academia instead.
