That was definitely a different one than I was thinking of -- the explode
in air theory for flight 93 was the dispersal of the debris (especially an
engine quite far away from the wreck), and as Phil suggested just now, it
was probably beyond its flight envelope and probably sheared off that
engine while still in the air.
