Rick....
It's been overwhelming at our house recently (more than the usual over-
whelming).
Yes, a lot of input, and with it some questions:
Chip, after helping me for many hours (in between his job), said, "Maybe
we should just choose an attorney from those in Reno or Carson, and
stop searching." That disoriented me.
This came on the heels of a call in which a lady told me we would not
find a pro bono atty, and if we did, pro bono atty's only delay things
because they fit in these kinds of cases around the paying ones.
I had the perhaps unrealistic idea that we could find "just the right
person"--one who would care about justice and want Kriseya's case
because of the wrong done to her. I thought if an attorney took it
pro bono (we'd pay expenses, of course), that was a proof of caring
of sorts.
I feel reluctant to stop looking now, but I see Chip's point--that we
need to move forward. Yet, I wonder if we should hold out yet.
I haven't had a moment to get things together. Still Will. We want to
keep you informed. Would you mind re-issuing your address? I know it
was on recently, but can't find it. Chip said he'd help me make the
copies to send you. I thought that some articles, plus appeal, t'cript
of oral argument, & Pro Per supp. would be informative.
Thank you always, Rick.
