From: Robert Comer I haven't seen my pair of Blue Bird's at all this year, guess someone probably got one of them (I had a pair that nested outside my work window for the last 3 years or so.) I did get a batch of Cardinals just outside my front door at home this year, these guys really leave the nest quickly! (+3 also) I blocked up where the Doves were nesting this year, it got to be too much of a mess to clean up -- 3 batches each year for the last 3 years and their droppings on my porch was enough to tell them to move on. One very special things about South Carolina is quantity and quality of the fauna! I got to see my first Pileated Woodpecker a few months ago. A Pileated Woodpecker is a very large (2nd's largest Woodpecker), pretty close to crow or raven sized and not a beauty to look at -- very primitive looking) He was digging bugs out of a neighbor's tree -- it's quite amazing just how efficient he was in knocking chunks of wood out of that tree. -- Bob Comer at all thisOn Thu, 10 May 2007 11:37:30 -0400, Richard B. wrote: >On Thu, 10 May 2007 11:11:23 -0400, "Mark" wrote: > >>http://www.nypost.com/seven/05102007/postopinion/opedcolumnists/duty_to_the_f uture_opedcolumnists_rupert_murdoch.htm >>"TODAY, I am announcing our intention to be carbon-neutral, across all our >>businesses, by 2010.
