Anyway, to put it in a nutshell for you, equating E=MC2 to nuclear
explosions (proof of, one way or the other) is like equating the meaning of
life and 42, sure 42 is part of the meaning of life, it's a valid integer
in our mathematical system, but it doesn't explain nearly enough, and the
converse is that because we have a mathematical system, there must be
something like 42.

For the thousandth time it seems, E=MC2 is *just* and equation that either
describes how much energy results if you convert X amount of mass, or it
describes how much mass can result from a given energy input if you could
convert it.  Both of these being perfect conversions...

It describes nothing else about a nuclear explosion and a nuclear explosion
is no proof of E=MC2 because it's *****NOT***** a perfect conversion.
