Wishing you much luck in the pursuit of this goal, I used to run Maximus on 
OS/2 and WIN98 before I moved to Linux but due to Maximus source not being 
released I moved to MBSE BBS, which I find very capable, and works flawlessly, 
but it is not Maximus, ...
