subject: Is 14400 considered high

 JD>> No grasshopper......The 9600 was the 1st one.....I thought I was
 JD>> flying...Then again..I can remember when a 2400 was fast....
RB+But the topic line says ^^^........(read it yourself)
I don't have to read it..I WROTE IT!.....
RB+anything below 9600 was not considered "HIGH SPEED"
+HIGH SPEED was a badge put on the "new wave" of modems on the market at
+the time. It was yet another marketing ploy.
I take it never had a 300 baud modem...Try and you'll love a 2400...
