According to the BBC just now, Comical Ali (the last Minister of 
Information) attempted to surrender to the Americans,  but was 
turned away because his piccy wasn't on Bush's deck of cards....

I guess that's a little like getting a form letter from the 
Balmoral Police Station about one's motor accident....
