| subject: | This F`ing Modem |
Hey Kenneth KM> As far as I have been told - the reason it jumps from 28,800 to KM> 26,000 etc.. is due to incompatiblities between your modem and that KM> of the BBS! I have a couple of friends who connect to a multinode KM> BBS and the modem on node 1 will not let THEIR modem run at 28,800 KM> but others can! This is what I think the problem is! Yeah I think this is the problem. I'm going to get a differecnt brand as I'm ¨sick of it.
